Savings Accounts - You work hard for your money

A primary savings account is your lifetime ticket to remaining an FFCU member and will improve your financial health by tucking money away for a rainy day.  Savings accounts can be used for anything . . . a down-payment on a house, achieving a retirement goal or just mad cash.   You name it, you save for it!

An easy way to save automatically is to use Direct Deposit and let us to do the work of budgeting your money.  Pay yourself first and build your savings quickly.

Primary Savings
This account is opened first when you join FFCU.  It declares you as a member and provides an open door for other accounts and services we offer.

• Minimum opening deposit is $25 which declares you a member and must remain on deposit to keep your membership open.
• Monthly maintenance fee of $2 is charged if there are no other account relationships.
• Pays interest quarterly on balances of $100 or more.

Club Savings Accounts
Christmas Club, Vacation Club, You-Name-It Club.

• No minimum deposit to open
• No monthly maintenance fee
• Pays interest quarterly on balances of $100 or more
• Christmas Clubs automatically transfer to your FFCU checking account each year on October 1st.

Money Market Savings Account
Combines the liquidity of a savings account and limited check writing privileges with higher interest rates and the best tiers in town.

• Minimum deposit to open account is $1,000
• Monthly maintenance fee of $5 is charged if balance falls below $1,000
• Pays interest monthly on all funds over $1,000 at tiered levels
• No more than 6 withdrawals or transfers to another FFCU account or third party by means of preauthorized, automatic or computer transfer, telephonic order or instruction.  No more than 3 of the 6 transactions may be made by check, draft, debit card to a third party.
