FFCU Trade Mastery Scholarship

The Fremont Federal Credit Union Trade Mastery Scholarship supports high school seniors pursuing specialized trades instead of a college education after graduation. This scholarship provides financial assistance for the necessary tools or supplies to begin their career paths. To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants or their parents/legal guardians must be active Fremont Federal Credit Union members and have maintained good standing since January 1, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements

Who Is Eligible: Open to high school seniors who have decided to enter their specialized trade workforce immediately after graduation, foregoing college.

Application Deadline: April 1, 2025

Scholarship Amount: Covers the cost of tools and/or supplies essential for pursuing a career in the specified trade.

Must be a Fremont Federal Credit Union member and in good standing since January 1, 2023.
Must be a high school senior attending a vocational tech school.
Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)
Employees of and dependent children of Fremont Federal Credit Union and its affiliates are ineligible.

Notification

Applicants will be notified of their application status in late April. Not all applicants will be selected as recipients.

Payment of Scholarships

Fremont Federal Credit Union will purchase tools/supplies for the scholarship winner.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on:

Completion of application. It must be typed.
Copy of transcripts.
Work experience
Statement of career goals and objectives

The Fremont Federal Credit Union Scholarship Committee is responsible for selecting recipients. No FFCU officer or employee participates in the selection process. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.
