Emergency Relief Assistance Loan Program

As we all continue to track the latest developments surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want you to know that Fremont Federal Credit Union is here to help you navigate through these difficult and uncertain times. The health and well-being of our members and staff is our top priority.

Fremont Federal is here to lend a helping hand to members who have been financially impacted by the coronavirus. We will work with members individually and offer financial solutions tailored to each member's situation. Our highly trained staff are uniquely qualified to listen and offer sound and trusted advice. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, we are here to help. Our low-rate Emergency Relief loan was built to provide some financial assistance to you during this difficult time. 

Here are the options we have available for our Members to Apply for:

Emergency Relief Loan:

Existing members may apply for a $500 to $5,000 personal loan. 5% interest rate and no processing fees. The loan amount is equal to up to one month of net income. Repay in 12 or 24 months depending on the amount borrowed.

The first payment is due after 90 days on any consumer loan, including Emergency Relief Loan.
*This excludes Home Equity Lines of Credit, Mortgage Loans, and Credit Cards.

Alternate Payment Plan

We are offering up to 3 months of alternative payment in the amount of 30% to 50% of the member's regular payment amount with no processing fee.

Home Equity Line of Credit Alternate Payment Plan:

We are offering up to 3 months of alternative payment in the amount of 50% of the member's regular payment amount with no processing fee.

Mortgage Forbearance:

Up to 6 months of Payment Forbearance with no late fees. 

Emergency Skip-a-Payment Extension:

We are offering a Skip-a-Payment extension for all consumer loan payments. The Skip-a-Payment deferral program is for up to 3 months with no fee.

COVID-19 Relief Grant

The Covid-19 Relief Grant provides credit unions with an opportunity to help their members mitigate the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each COVID-19 Relief Grant recipient will receive up to $10,000 to distribute to their members to offset the costs of groceries, utilities, or rent.


A credit union matching contribution is strongly encouraged so the spirit of the grant aides more credit union members and creates a greater impact
on communities throughout Ohio.
